In June, we'll be creating more opportunities for socializing, physical activity, and integration
After two quieter months, we are excited to announce that we have been able to expand our sports programme for the community. In June, several new activities will launch in our cantons of Zurich and Bern. This allows us to create more spaces where refugees, locals, and sports enthusiasts can meet, be active together, and build new connections.
Sport brings people together regardless of their background, language, or experience. Our new courses offer the opportunity to get involved, discover new sports, and become part of a diverse community.
These new activities started in June:
Outdoor Fitness Women Only in Bern
With our new Outdoor Fitness Women Only course, we are creating a safe space where women can be active together, recharge their energy, and develop their physical abilities. The course combines varied exercises for strength, endurance, and flexibility with the opportunity to make new connections and become part of our community.
Yoga Mixed in Bern
The new Yoga Mixed course in Bern invites participants to find calm together, strengthen their bodies, and do something positive for their overall well-being. The course is suitable for all levels and combines strengthening exercises with relaxing moments.
Basketball in Winterthur
Our new basketball course in Winterthur offers the perfect opportunity to challenge yourself physically, improve your skills, and enjoy the game together with others. Whether you already have experience or want to discover basketball for the first time, everyone is warmly welcome.
Taekwondo Women Only in Zurich
With our new Taekwondo Women Only course in Zurich, we are expanding our programme with a sport that combines movement, concentration, and self-confidence. This course also creates a space where women can train technique, coordination, and fitness together in a motivating atmosphere.
Hiking in Zurich
The new hiking programme in Zurich is not only about physical activity. Shared experiences in nature create encounters, strengthen the community, and offer the opportunity to discover the surrounding area together.
We are very excited to implement these new sports programmes with our community and create further opportunities for integration through sport.
