Zürcher Silvesterlauf 2025: A sporty end to the year full of community spirit

On December 14, 2025, the SPORTEGRATION community was full of energy and good spirits at the Zurich New Year's Eve Run. With a group of around 50 runners, we ran 8.5 kilometers through Zurich's festive old town.

As every year, we started with a warm-up together and then headed to the starting line in high spirits. The energy along the route and in the finish area was contagious! Applause, mutual congratulations, and many beaming faces accompanied us to the very last meter. At the end, we warmed up again with hot soup, the perfect moment to chat, look back, and toast to a successful year. As Yemane, a long-time participant, said: **“It's really fun that we have fun together from different countries and cultures. We're like a family, which I think is really cool.”**
Yemane's words accompany us into the last days of the year: with this feeling of solidarity and gratitude, we are bringing 2025 to a close and looking forward to an eventful new year with lots of movement, encounters, and common goals.
