Volunteer position: Complaint Officer

The SPORTEGRATION association brings together refugees and locals in the cantons of Zurich, Bern, Basel-Stadt and Basel-Land and uses sport as the basis and means for sustainable integration. To this end, SPORTEGRATION works with numerous volunteers to organise a wide range of different sports courses that are open to everyone, regardless of age, origin, religion, gender or ability. The association also offers selected basic courses in various school subjects (IT, maths, English, singing) and runs a sponsorship programme for private individuals and companies with the aim of providing refugees with individual support in their everyday lives.

To ensure the quality of our services, SPORTEGRATION is looking for a volunteer Complaint Officer to support the new complaints handling system. The position will be held by two volunteers. The exact working hours will depend on the number and type of complaints. We currently assume that the Complaint Officer will need a maximum of half an hour per week to complete his/her task. These tasks are shared between two Complaint Officers.

Your main tasks:

- You are the contact person between SPORTEGRATION and the complainant

- You check once a week whether a complaint has been received (complaint channels: online complaint form, e-mail and WhatsApp)

- You handle submitted complaints together with a confidential working group (you inform the working group and organise a meeting; together with the working group, you make decisions regarding next steps and implement necessary measures together with the working group)

- You document the complaints or the complaint process
