Review of 2024: A year full of growth and success
The year 2024 was a milestone for SPORTEGRATION. We look back with pride on a year characterised by expansion, new offers and a strong community.
New horizon
Basel-Landschaft is part of SPORTEGRATION:
This year, we successfully introduced our sports courses in Basel-Land. We are now also offering refugees there a platform to experience community and integration through sport.
Growth in figures
- New courses: from 53 to 71 - more variety and flexibility for all participants.
- Sports: From 21 to 30 - from yoga to volleyball, there is something for everyone.
- Volunteers: Over 200 dedicated helpers - a record that shows how important commitment is to our mission.
Unforgettable events
We have organised 2024 with a variety of events:
- Runs: We were able to take part in a wide variety of runs such as the Greifensee Run, Basel City Run, New Year's Eve Run, Grand Prix Bern and other runs.
- Volley for All: An event full of team spirit and sporting passion.
- Various training sessions with Laureus ambassadors
- Volunteer events and sports day: community and gratitude took centre stage.

Success through mentorships
With new mentorships for companies such as Ebi-pharm and UBS, we were able to offer targeted support for refugees. These mentorships not only helped with career guidance, but also strengthened the participants' social networks.
Education through sport and other programmes
In addition to our sports courses, this year we offered school courses in English and computer skills - an important basis for integration and independence.
We would like to thank everyone who contributed to this great year - whether as a participant, volunteer or partner. Together we have proven that Sport unites and creates opportunities!
